Delicious alternating soups in 3 flavours veggie, meet, and seafood. The side focaccia bread is also good. They make all their soups and stocks on premise.

Avoid this place at all costs. Had a cup of salmon chowder there today and 3 hours later I was in my hotel with signs of severe food poisoning trying to empty my stomach. Still being in pain right now. This place is a danger to public health!

Salmon soup with rosemary bread was delicious, clean, flavorful, and warm which was perfect for a cold day. There was a variety of soups and it was hard choosing one. There’s also a fridge that has takeaway options to warm up yourself at home.

Their vacuum sealed frozen soups make a quick, hearty weeknight meal. Their seafood chowders are excellent.

Great soup tucked into the Granville market! I tried the smoked salmon chowder and it is not to be missed. Other perks included free bread and a great selection of cold soups to go. I would recommend this as a quick stop at the market!

Reasonable prices. Decent food. 6.50 for a small but filling sized New England red snapper chowder with a hearty chunk of focaccia bread. They didn't skimp on the fish, but the potatoes were in for too long, and had started to dissolve.

For seafood, we recommend natural sockeye soup. If you choose meat, you will be lucky if you have real chicken noodle soup! The veggie is delicious with creamy mushrooms and bean soup. You can choose any size and come with homemade focaccia. If you want to eat at home, frozen soup is cheaper. From 09:00 to 11:30, only breakfast such as oatmeal is available. Soup is available from lunchtime to evening.

Great place for some wonderful ingredients. The quality of the offerings are impressive and you pay for that quality. I mean you pay the many monies for the quality of their products. I would recommend for soups and gravy and the stocks.

The craftsmen and craftswomen at this shop are extremely talented. Tremendous soup, hearty ingredients and best of all, low salt.

Honestly I was expecting more from this place. We got a broccoli cheddar soup (photo) and chicken noodles. Broccoli soup was a bit too salty; the chicken noodle was not salty enough. Nothing special.

Decided to give the cock a leekie soup. Great flavour with plenty of chicken, vegetables and rice in the stock. Comes with piece of focacia. Good value. Usually have three to choose from. On a cold day went down good, give them a try.

It is a very traditional place in the Grandville Island market and without a doubt one of the best soups I have ever tried.

Great soup! They even have soup ready to go on the side for you to bring home and cook. The soup we ordered came with free bread which was good.

Whenever I visit Granville Island I stock up on fresh or frozen bags of soup. They are all delicious, all the ingredients look hand cut too!

Soups they have available are delicious and come with a side of focaccia. It's a shame there's never a place to sit to enjoy them. I've tried a few to-go flavours and they do not compare to the fresh ones. Not enough seasoning and odd flavours. Fresh mushroom pasta sauce is fantastic though.
